The warmth of summer temperatures (between 30 ° and 40 °) are one of the hottest cities of France, but the proximity of the Mediterranean Sea (50 km) makes it quite bearable, attracting a steady stream of French and foreign holidaymakers.

NNNîmes is also a city with a strong Hispanic influence. For the weekend of Pentecost, the city celebrate “La Corrida” (Bullfighting), 1,500,000 people gathering around “Les Arènes” for eat paëla, drink pastis and dance to the sound of brass bands and bodegas.
