What can you do when you are bored?!?

"Am I bored, am I hungry, when we need to be there?” So many annoying questions that come up in our every-day life way too often.

Instead of turning on the TV knowing there is nothing to watch there are tons of stupid and fun things that you can do. Here are some examples:

- Search for magnetic point on your forehead: Ok, we all have a magnetic point (don’t ask me why!). Take a cap of beer bottle and try to stick it on your forehead. There is a place where it will not fall off even if you are upside down.

- Look for Brian: Brian is imaginary French. When the little French are at school, the only thing they learn in English class is to find Brian: "Where is Brian? Brian Is in the Kitchen. "They become very good at finding Brian, but not in speaking English ...

- Organize your fridge: Ok, for some it would be mission impossible,but suddenly, YOU’RE BUSY!

- Catapult match game: You take a match, you hold it perpendicular to the side of the box and then - catapulatage! See the picture:

WARNING do not play in summer, or inside the house, it can be dangerous. And just because you are bored you don’t need to find work for fireman!

- Try to touch your nose with your tongue

-Make the world's easiest cake for your friends: Nutella rolled. You need 5 eggs, 125g sugar, 125g butter, 50g flour, coconut powder and a jar of Nutella. Break eggs and separate yolks from whites. Beat the egg whites until stiff and put them in the refrigerator. Work with electric mixer yolks, sugar and butter until the color changes. Add flour. Fold the whites. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet and bake 15 to 20 minutes in the oven. When ready, spread the coconut on a damp cloth. Then put the dough on the cloth and spread the Nutella on it. Wrap it and it’s READY!

stop motion video Workshop

Το εργαστήριο του stop motion βίντεο είναι ένα εργαστήριο που χρειάζεται την συμμετοχή της ομάδας. Θα γίνει μια παρουσίαση της μεθόδου παραγωγής βίντεο καθώς και απαραίτητου λογισμικού ώστε να προχωρήσουμε στην παραγωγή. Πρόκειται για μια εύκολη και πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα μέθοδο παραγωγής βίντεο που έχει χρησιμοποιηθεί από ερασιτέχνες και επαγγελματίες εδώ και πολλά χρόνια. Εξαιρετικά ενδιαφέρον είναι ότι χρειάζεται μια απλή φωτογραφική κάμερα και όχι βιντεοκάμερα.

Το πρώτο σκέλος θα κρατήσει από 4 εβδομάδες, μια ώρα την εβδομάδα, κάθε τρίτη στις 20:00 με πρώτο εργαστήριο στις 13 Οκτωβρίου.

Το δεύτερο σκέλος θα είναι πρακτική εξάσκηση (παραγωγή βίντεο) από την ομάδα ή τις ομάδες (ανάλογα με τους συμμετέχοντες). Τα βίντεο θα παρουσιαστούν σε εκδήλωση που θα λάβει μέρος τον Δεκέμβριο στο Κέντρο Νέων Καλαμάτας.

Αυτό που χρειάζεται είναι μια ψηφιακή κάμερα (δεν είναι υποχρεωτικό να έχετε κάμερα), όρεξη και υπομονή...

Το Κέντρο Νέων είναι ανοικτό καθημερινά 10 με 10... Σάββατο/Κυριακή δυστυχώς κλειστό.

Pre departure seminar

In a few days a young man from is going an EVS in Spain for 4 months. He describes the Pre-departure seminar in Athens ( in Greek and in English) :

"In the pre-departure seminar, I spent 3 days with people from all over Greece, who had all already done so many things. During the time I spent with them I didn't stop laughing! We stayed in a fantastic hotel under the Acropolis, we discussed and I was informed about what will happen and the new life that is opening in front of us.
I'd like all the young people of Kalamata to know that this experience was the perfect combination of relaxing, learning, meeting people and having fun, under the auspices of an organization that cares for young people. Also, we had trainers who had passed from the same phase as us. Let everybody seize the opportunity..."

"Οσο αφορα για το Pre- Departure seminar, θα ηθελα να ενημερωσω τους νεεους της καλαματας οτι ειμασταν τρεις μιση μερες με ανθρωπους απο ολη την Ελλαδα, που ολοι ειχαν κανει ενα σωρο πραγματα. Ολος ο χρονος που περασα μαζι τους δεν σταματησα να γελαω, μειναμε σε ενα υπεροχο ξενοδοχειο κατω απο την ακροπολη, συζητησαμε και ενημερωθηκαμε για ολα τα πραγματα που γινουν ή πως θα γινουν στη καινουργια εμπειρια ζωης που ανειγεται μπροστα μας. Γενικα θα ηθελα ολοι να ξερουν, πως ηταν ενα ιδανικο κραμα αγχολυτικης εμπειριας, γνωσεων, γνωριμιων και ψυχαγωγιας υπο την αιγιδα ενος φορεα που φαινεται να ξερει να νοιαζεται για τους νεους. Επισης ειχαμε εκπαιδευτες που ειχαν περασει απο τα ιδια σταδια που περναμε και εμεις τωρα. Ας αδραξουν την ευκαιρια ....."
