introduction :D

of my arrival on kalamata I attend some day after the anniversary of soufiane organized by his girlfriend: D it was a moment full of joy and complicity I really appreciate the joy of living of everyone and I ' I can know one better on everyone:...

It's a breathtaking story ...

1. The particular characteristic of the city is an ancient fortress
The rich history of the city has influenced its local culture
In 1715 it was conquered by the Turkish invaders, the rule of the Turks lasted more than one hundred years. Some buildings and regions are always reminiscent of these difficult times. In 1821 Kalamata was liberated, and in the early nineteenth century the construction of the port began, which became the beginning of subsequent prosperity and success. Today this port is the second largest port among the ports of the Peloponnese.

The boat "Albatros II" is ready for cruises in the Messinian Gulf

2. If you find yourself in Kalamata you can not miss this fantastic place and very well maintained by the local authorities and people stay cloistered all their holidays on the seafront.

The perfect place to relax and have a good time with your friends, your family, or just yourself!
Great bay with a nice beach along you find there many shops. The beginners are welcoming The sea is calm

Possibility to see some fish near the rocks with a mask and a snorkel

This view of the mountain took me with her  <3

 3. The old cogwheel train from Diakofto-Kalavryta In the north of the Peloponnese, the small cogwheel train connecting Diakofto to Kalavryta crosses the spectacular Vouraikos gorge. The train runs between the cliffs of Sienna and continues its ascent through the canyon, along a narrow rocky outcrop overlooking the rapids. The railway winds through the thick foliage of plane trees and crosses 7 winding tunnels to Kalavryta, a hamlet with old-fashioned charm, before descending to the coast.

I have not made this trip yet but I plan to start it one day train: D

5 In returning to the cultural and historical heritage, we must note the beautiful Church of the Apostles, which was built in the 5th century.

5 .There is the mikel ..

In MIKEL, coffee is not only a daily favorite. it has been and remains a form of art that reflects the know-how of this city, the state-of-the-art mechanical equipment and creativity of these personalities are at the top!
